Designed for 4 x 6 fence posts (actual dimensions: 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"), these caps fit snugly with an inside dimension of 3 5/8" by 5 5/8" and an edge height of 1/2". After being planed, the posts will measure approximately 3 5/8” by 5 5/8”.

These caps can be easily slipped over the posts. Even if a post's dimensions exceed the standard by a few millimeters, the caps are designed to flex just enough for a secure fit, without overstretching.

You have four options for securing the caps to the posts: adhesive tape, nails, screws, or adhesive. For tape, simply place mounting tape inside the cap and snap it onto the post. If you choose nails or screws, make sure to drill pilot holes on at least two sides of the caps for a secure hold. When opting for adhesive, ensure that it is suitable for bonding both plastic and wood materials.
