To remove a damaged or deteriorated bezel, simply lightly press the sides of the bezel inwards and then pop it out. Installing the replacement shifter bezel is easy - insert it through the shifter boot with the front end (the taller edge with snap-on clips at the bottom) facing towards the dashboard. Place the rubber boot over the bezel and gently press it down on both ends until it clicks into place, creating a secure hold and preventing the boot from moving around. Make sure to install the bezel in the correct orientation before pressing it into place.
